For the September issue of Charleston Magazine, I sat down for a 15 minute chat with Dano & Bethany Heinz about their journey from McCrady's to California and back to Charleston, where they've just opened Vern's, a neighborhood restaurant that's getting a ton of buzz.
I really enjoy doing these "15 Minutes With" interviews—and the interview portion really does take around 15 minutes in total, though we edit them down a lot to fit the two page spread in the magazine—because it's a great chance to get beyond the food and tell the story of the people behind Charleston's new restaurants.
