The first weekend in November, I'm heading to Lockhart for the next installment of Texas Monthly's TM BBQ Fest, which includes a big slate of barbecue writers at the Texas Book Festival .
The 2022 installment of Texas Monthly's TM BBQ Fest is heading to the Barbecue Capital of Texas. Saturday is the new BBQ World's Fair on the streets of downtown Lockhart, which features food (including taquerias and a showcase of other international flavors) along with drinks, live music, cooking demos, and more.
I'll be part of the Texas Book Festival @ BBQ Fest along with an excellent slate of other barbecue authors, including Aaron Franklin, Jess Pryles, Kevin Bludso, Adrian Davila, José Ralat, Mando Rayo, and Daniel Vaughn. Come join us and sample the rich world of Texas barbecue in the process.
